Classic British '60's sports car
Excellent model true to the original vehicle, though I'm judging from photographs! Plenty of chrome especially the thin strip between the body and the front (silver painted) bumper (newer versions of the scale model has this though an earlier model of the coupé I also have does not have the chrome strip). Everything opens, wheels steer from the steering wheel, the chrome framing the doors is correct for the roadster though would be inaccurate on the coupés doors. The educational bit is that the boot lid on the S3 and S4 models is correct compared to the S1 and S2 versions that have a smaller boot lid (a redesign I found out myself was true), also the battery sits correctly in the boot on the nearside (RHD) whereas earlier models had the battery on the offside (behind the drivers' seat -RHD). If you are a fan of the Lotus Elan you can not do better than to buy this Sun Star model.
