Why did Apple stop supporting its iDVD software? It's one of the most useful utilities, and so easy to use. This is the only way to get that lost function on a new Mac computer. You may also prefer some of the older versions of the other software. If so, then this is the only way to "go back in time." My Catalina Mac would not install it. I knew it was risky when I ordered it, however----but had read that if I set the clock back on my desktop, it would install. But it didn't. Installation was easy and helped me get the correct version....
Purchased mainly to install iMovie on an older iMac computer (has the most recent version allowed on Snow Leopard OS). Also comes with other programs (including iPhoto, iDVD and Garageband) which can be used to help make/edit video and audio projects.
