The Realistic HTX-100 is a small device, which only requires a good antenna and a reliable source of electricity to work. The Realistic HTX-100 receiver incremental tuner allows for fine-tuning, and the ten memory channels let you easily switch to your favorite frequencies. This unit features RIT controls, which permit you to fine tune the receiver to match the received signal. The HTX-100 transceiver device offers RF gain control, which allows you to send Morse code (CW) or communicate by voice on the upper side band. The push-to-talk switch makes it easy to send messages and control the device, all at the touch of a button. The HTX-100 comes equipped with high or low output power options. The Realistic HTX-100 model radio transceiver features an RF power output on Hi of 25 Watts and on the low output it provides 5 Watts. The Realistic radio transceiver sports a sensitivity of 0.25 uV or 10 dB S/N and an image rejection of 65 dBs The Realistic HTX-100 radio transceiver features a voltage of 13.8 VDC, plus or minus 15 percent and a current drain RX of 0.5 – 1A and a max TX drain of 6A. This amateur HF transceiver from Realistic features a frequency range from 28 MHz to 29.7 MHz and with the featured lock/out switch frequency lock, you can adjust how many MHz are necessary for your channel and lock it to prevent interference. Manufactured in Japan by Uniden from 1988 to the late 1990’s, this radio transceiver stands the test of time.
