The dealer was wonderful, honest and very responsive. The product appears fundementally flawed.
I felt it was time to replace my trusty old Linksys WRT54G. It's been a great router, but alas I felt like an Amish IT manager with it. I installed this router because it had the Cisco name - a name you should be able to trust in the IT world. On the enterprise side I think that is true, but their foray into the small business world seems to rely more on their name then their ability to produce excellent products. As soon as I installed this router I noticed a lot (I mean A LOT) of flickering in my video feeds Youtube video was repeating frames constantly. I switched back to my trusty old Linksys wrt54G and got a nice and smooth youtube back. I put the cisco back and it was a mess again. I access video feeds from security cameras all the time - and this router did the same thing with those - flickering, repeated frames - just messy. Of course I thought there could be some setup parameters that needed tuning - but the setup of this router is rather obtuse - and after a few hours of twiddling bits the result was always the same. The seller from whom I bought it took it back without argument so I was thankful for that. I did buy a new Linksys WRT1200AC and it is performing perfectly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
