I’ve had a regular Vickers for a while and found it to do the job. It would dig in my neck on occasion but it wasn’t a huge deal. Long stalks on hot dusty nights could get uncomfortable. I just built an AR10 and was thinking I’d try the padded style. Wow! What a difference and no sensation of “bulk” that I was anticipating.
