    DR Black Beauties bass strings

    Went from DR neon strings which where easier on the fingers than non coated strings plus they match the strings on Rocksmith figured I would give the DR Black beauties a try first thought after opening the package is that the strings are very smooth hardly any friction . After installing and tuning I played a couple of songs and checked tuning still in tune, so I went ahead a played a hour or so then let my bass sit overnight. After sitting overnight I decided to check the tuning and was surprised that my bass was still in tune, so that is a big plus at least in my eyes.So after about 15 hours playing I have not had to re tune my bass and the sound is not muddy or dull sounding actually sound a lot more brighter that the DR neon's I was using, also the coating shows no signs of wear and look great on my white Dean bass. I highly recommend the DR Black Beauties and will be getting another set when these wear out or I can find them on sale either way IMHO they are hands down the best strings I have used.

    Great sound, feel and longevity

    I have been using the DR Black Beauty Bass Strings for the last few years and I am totally sold on them. Great sound and smooth feel are the plus with these strings. I find that the medium set gives me the presence and punch that I require when performing In a rock band setting. Long life is also a plus as the coating lasts with minimal wear even when being played daily. I finger pluck so am not sure about longevity with a pick. One more point, my basses that have these installed stay in tune longer and seem to not be affected by temperature change as readily as nickels or stainless but that is just my opinion. I highly recommend these DR Black Beauty Strings!

    DR Black Beauties all around value.

    I have these strings on two bass guitars. Strings work very well with both. Great tone and sustain. Easy on fingers pretty smooth. They also add a great look to your bass They don`t create a lot of Stress on bass neck. Very durable and last long time. Every one has there own preference but after trying all types I still like these strings and they work well with any genre of music. Great value for what they offer.

    These black beauties have been the only strings I use any more. They sound great. They feel great. They last longer than other strings and look awesome on any guitar. You will not be disappointed if you give these or any DR string. I have tried most of them and they are all terrific.

    DR STRINGS. For that smooth bass sound.

    I've played bass for many years now and one of my issues was the sectional drag when I would do riffs. Almost like rubbing over corregated surfaces. Not with DR Strings. Smooth sounding and easy on the fingers. You will notice the difference when you hit high notes or play from the neck. The sound is mind-blowing.     High performance coated Black Beauties

    They came quick and I was very impressed with the look and feel of these strings, I played some blues to warm up and got right into metal and I found that deep thumping sound I was looking for, they’re loud and not flat like others I played, they won’t slow you down. Ya wouldn’t even know they’re coated by the way they sound, very clean and crisp, make my bass sound even better getting that all around sound! Thumbs up..
