Sorry VacMaster doesn't make this anymore
I've had a VacMaster Pro for 5 years and it works excellent, in sealing. Only thing I've noticed on the first seal, I have to push the extended heat button. After that it seal great, I look for the plastic to be clear on the seal point. My wife used it and broke one tab on the right side where it locks. Vacumes fast
because many of the items I have purchased online have not been of very good quality. I hope this will be better than those .The only thing I am concerned about are the plastic latches which hold the top down but I hope it will continue to operate for several years and not just a few months . Only time will tell .Otherwise it does vacuum very fast and the seal is very good on the bags that came with the item but the bags from food saver don't seal very well unless sealed 2 timesVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

great item but instructions could use some work.
excellent item but the instructions could be clearer. it says to read everything before operating however the instructions assume you have used one before. or can read between the lines. it tells you how to place the bag but not how to lock the cover down. it took four tries to get it to lock and stay down. once closed and operating it worked very well. then you had to push down on the locks to release them. nothing about this in the instructions. overall excellent with very minor learning curve. less than five minutes I was vacuuming and sealing bags.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
