Excellent phone for older person
Excellent phone for older person who cannot hear well and/or who cannot find or remember phone numbers. The speaker phone feature actually works well and the fact that it works without the need for a wall-wart power supply or batteries (that would constantly need replacing...!) is outstanding. Good phone but not new as described.
We had ordered this product before and my 86 yr old mother chose to play basketball with it and the handset finally gave way. The original lasted two years and worked very well with her hearing aid and being able to amplify the receiver. It's easy to use for her with big numbers and we programmed in her most frequent callers making it easy for her to call people. Overall it has been a good phone and other than the handset breaking it still worked fine. Wish there was a list for parts to order verse having to buy the whole thing. In the case of this one it did not come "new" as described nor in the original package. Luckily I know how it worked so that wasn't a problem.
