This Vornado tower fan comes highly recommended. Believe me, with this tower fan I can see why there is no fan oscillation needed. This fan circulates the air in every part of my home on its lowest speed setting. It is solidly constructed and well built. And, the best thing is the 5 year warranty!! I've owned other maker tower fans, each had suffered oscillation failure dispite my seasonal cleaning, wasted money. Expensive junk - In no way, shape or form is this worth $100. It is just as hot as it is before. The fan doesn't have the arc area as advertised. I send some air low and some air high, but it's not doing anything at all other than make noise. I don't get it. great to cool off an area of room
I think it's great. It's very different from all the fans I am used to. I'm used to a fan that rotates so that I feel the direct air only for a second. With this fan, I set it across the couch. Everybody on the wide couch feels the direct air consistently. I like the constant direct flow of air to me. Could be set to low or really high. Loud for a Vornado
Love the remote and that it moves the air well, but for a Vornado it is LOUD. Over the years I've had the traditional Vornado design in several formats and they are whisper-quiet, but not so with the tower. Makes quite a racket on high.
