I dyed 3 tank tops golden yellow. They were too golden, not what i was going far. This is the first time i used a dye remover, but it worked. Now they are a nice shade of yellow. DOESN'T WORK
Tried once with one box in the washer and it didn't work. Knew I needed two boxes. My mistake. Second time I bought three boxes of Rit Color Remover. Soaked my shorts in a container with one box. Nothing happened. Finally the last two boxes, which says you should use in the washer, which I did at the minimum water (hot) -- AND JUST AS TAN AS THEY EVER WERE! I finally got to tone the tan color by iron them for a half hour or more wet to help dull the tan color. I've used this product before with no problem. So, WHAT'S THE PROBLEM NOW? This RIT color remover worked well for me
This RIT color remover removed the accidentally-dyed yellow color from my white TILLEY hat. Worked VERY well for me with two half-packet applications. The first half-packet (1oz) removed the color 90%. The second application removed the remaining color and was still useful as the fist application for another garment.
