misleading name, poor cut
they are not (gator blades tm) they are copper head brand a knock off of gator blades .they fit my craftsman tractor but the cutting edge is small, and with a deck setting of 4 with the mulch kit the cut is poor, I even looked to see if i put them on wrong. mower blades that meet expectations
I searched for lawn tractor blades that would be equivalent to the original manufacturers blades but at a lower price. These blades were better than the original ones because of their thickness and had a higher lift for bagging. When the time comes for replacement of these I will be shopping for these same ones. I think that will be a while because I will be able to sharpen these several times due to their heavy duty material. Extreme mulch blades
Blades were thick and seemed durable I mow an acre with my lawn mower and the blades did amazing the first run and were ok by the second time only used them about 4 times and don't have a lot of tree roots but went to take them off the other day to sharpen and they are rough looking missing chunks out of them not as durable as I thought they would be but when they are new they do a beautiful cutVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
