Great programmable LUX thermostat was available to replace 13 year old model with same model. Works great
A 13 year old LUX programmable thermostat was acting up and I feel fortunate to have found the exact same product, considering the model was discontinued. The thermostat I received was exactly as pictured, which was important in that I could install it myself with no changes to wiring. Set it and Forget it
This is the second one I've installed and used in my home. I just replaced the one that had given me great service for over 10 years. This is identical to the first one so it was easy for me to program it and start it up. It is very accurate in controlling the heat in the house, and looks good on the wall. Does it’s job
Well it’s a direct replacement for the old lux thermostat I’ve had. Took the old unit out and put in the new unit. Didn’t need it until the heatwave started here in California. Went to use and all seemed well and then the unit turned off. Thought maybe it was defect. I took it apart and the cool/heat selector pins needed to be pushed out more to create more tension against inside the unit. Works good now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replaced and old TX1500
Bought this as a replacement. I didn't even have to change out the wall plate as this model fit perfectly as I had hoped. I can only recommend this product if the parties interested are looking to replace a TX1500. The company that made this thermostat has moved on to making and selling more advanced models now. So, I am fortunate and grateful that this item was up for sale because this keeps things simple for me. No pics needed since this was an exact fit. It may not have Wi-Fi connectivity or an app, but it works as a thermostat and is still programmable if you wish to take the time to do so. I'm glad to have the light back too! Though it is an OLD model, all of the components are solid state except maybe the two switches and the door hinges, so I don't expect for there to be any component failures any time soon since I may only adjust settings a couple of times a year.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
