The brand matters
Winsor & Newton are known for high quality materials. Better pigmentation and workability with this gouache compared to cheaper brands. Worth every penny when you plan to sell your artwork!

Does the job
I'm new at painting, and this is my first set of gouache so I don't have anything else to compare it to. No complaints here! The colors mix beautifully and just a little bit of paint goes a long way. If Windsor & Newton is supposed to be the gold standard, I'd hate to see how other brands compare.
