Vent Vert - Green Wind - very appropriate as it has green undertone
I have been wearing Vent Vert for many years, having received my first bottle straight from Paris when I was 16 - my father was an airline pilot who flew into Paris.
While the re-engineered scent is not quite as good as the original, it is still my favorite. It does have a sharp green odor, fresh & somewhat like a gin gimlet . It isn't one of those overpowering sweet perfumes that almost knocks you over as it is much more subtle.
This was my grandmother's favorite perfume and it became mine as well until I couldn't find it anymore. They discontinued it which is despicable for such a work of art. The re-engineered version lacks the sharp woodsy clarity and magic. It is more floral with maybe a finch more jasmine. Its nice but not what I remember. I miss the old one and its a tragedy it was lost. This is wearable though and a nice fragrance but they art of the original is lost.
