Let the garage door open again
When my neighbors garage door failed to open I got a call. seemed that the motor spins but the door dont move, as the secondary parts of the opener had failed. This kit addresses this problem. the kit included secondary shaft with primary and secondary worm gears and the chain gear welded to the shaft. the kit also included cover and bushing on the secondary shaft already installed and other parts as well. the fit of these parts were exact and when installed and greased up worked flawlessly. this is a great kit and with a little mechanical skill installs and works great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Hope it can work my keypad
Having trouble programing the remote with my keypad. it won't let me put in a code to open from outside the garage door. It did program my homelink for my car and able to open garage with the remote, but not happy that it won't except my code on the keypad. I bought the Marantec garage door remote opener to supplement the Homelink system that came with my car. This Homelink system has a range of about 15 feet - horrible. The Marantec opener has a range of at least 120 feet. don't pay to have this installed
If you a bit mechanically inclined this a pretty much straight forward install ! I paid less than $20 for the kit and my other garage opener was repaired by a overhead door company and $129 dollars later it was fixed...this time I know that the top gear was going out like the last one so I gave it a shot !
