I should have gotten the one that maps. I relied on reviews and selected the wrong one.
The product was easy to start but hard to program on phone due to it is only 2.4 compatible. It does not vacuum the entire floor, it just goes all over the place randomly, no pattern or direction that will enable to go over the entire surface. I see now that I made a wrong choice. Works great but doesn't replace an regular vacuum.
It is funny to watch but it does get the job done, it takes awhile since it is wandering and you have to decide when it is done, I know that there is a timer mode and maybe that might do it. This unit seems a little hesitant to go back home when ordered. It seems like is continuing with its random cleaning but it does eventually get back. It has some problem with our area rugs. It only gets up on then when the unit has a running start. I wish the collector bin was larger. It is quite full when it has done the great room and kitchen, This may not be a problem for some but we have a lot to pick up with two dogs and cypress needles this time year that get tracked in by everybody, especially the dogs, Currently is holding a charge very well it is usually only 25% depleted after finishing our area. It asked if emptying is easy, well it is but if you do the recommended cleaning it is fairly involved and and done every time. What impressed me during the cleaning is there is a very fine screen that collects very small dust particles and I have a feeling that most vacuums would just pass these back into the air. Cleans well. Takes time though and a little loud. App/wireless connectivity is poor
My first robot. Used it to clean a large basement with carpet and then a kitchen with vinyl. Takes time (took 90 mins for the basement 40 x 20 feet) but cleaned well including the edges, which was really good in the kitchen. Is a little on the loud side - louder than a Shark stick. Great little robotic vacuum cleaner. If you have pets this cleaner will clean all the pet fur on the floors. Not good if you have thick carpets. it is OK on thin carpets. It has good suction and picks up a lot. programmable start times and will dock when the battery gets low. We really like our u its.
