Excellent sound quality, but comfort could be better.
The sound quality of these headphones is excellent. Even with my relatively poor hearing I am able to hear all of the sounds in the game without having to turn the volume up all the way. However, I am still able to hear other activity in the room, which is good with me, but if you want to totally block out ambient sound you may want a different mode. The comfort level is a bit below what I would expect, mostly in that the padding at the top and around the ears could be softer. Perhaps after I wear them longer it will soften up, but after a week I did not notice any change.

Cannot beat the power of an amplifier
I have headsets that cost much more than these but lack power. Even though they have nicer cushioning and materials, they cannot compare to the Stealth 300s for pure powerful sound. The built in EQ and headset controls make it much easier to adjust on the fly and the mic monitoring will keep you from shouting to be heard over the fight. Just watch the plug connections on used models as two of the three I've purchased have been loose. Overall a great wired headset.
