I bought this bag because I am involved in a boy scout troop that camps year round. My old sleeping bag got damaged beyond repair and also didn't fit me very well. This over sized bag fits me very well, I am 6'2" and about 270lbs so finding a bag that fits is very important. The cold ratting is very close to accurate, however any who buys a sleeping bag this large needs to keep in mind that there is a lot of space in the bag for cold air to get trapped if it doesn't fit you right. Best bag for car campers
This is now my fourth Teton XXL sleeping bag, one for every member of the family. I can easily say this is the best sleeping bag we have ever owned! Warm, comfortable, great features, all around the best bag for car camping. A little too hefty for a backpack but I’m not into backpack camping so this is a perfect bag for me and my family!
