It lasted one day
We noticed a 2 inch dent on the very bottom outside rim and it was there when we used only six cans in it and tried to remove them after they can recycle the handles broke off of the bottom and we were scalded trying to remove the jars we went to Walmart and got a new one last night. Works, but has some quality issues.
You need this for water bath canning and it works well. The only reason I'm just giving it 4 stars is that it's rather thin and cheap. I have put no dings in it, yet parts of the bottom are beginning to rust. Also the rack does not hold the jars up well, as they easily fall over in the water. All in all, it's useable, but not the best quality. Don't expect this one to last for years and years like some of the old ones did.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
