Quick brewer.....easy to use and maintain.
This is a compact coffee maker. I've had two models of this type before. Both had minor electrical breakdowns that rendered them unusable and unrepairable. But they lasted a long time. In both cases, they were preowned, as this one was. Being familiar and satisfied with this appliance was the motivation to purchase another one at a lower price than a new, more modern coffee maker sells for. I was out of town for a couple of weeks so just yesterday opened the package. Unfortunately a few pieces were broken away from the bottom of the handle and worse yet one of the two with pegs that hold the filter case into the coffee maker was completely broken off. There is no way to use it if the filer case does not stay attached. I'd like to return this to you Please advise ASAP. Best coffee maker, esp for the price
Consistently makes a perfect cup of coffee. I now own 2 of these for our home and our cabin and both are equally great. Replaced a "newer" Braun design and a Cuisinart, both of which made bitter coffee more often than not. Plus, I love the simple design and ease of use. I'm not sure why or if true, but apparently you can still get one of these new in Europe but Braun is not allowed to sell in the US anymore? 900 Watts of pure brewing power!! Classic coffee brewer without all the froo-foo. Compact, makes great coffee,reliable; our 4th one over 15-20 yrs. Braun dropped the ball when they discontinued it and joined the mass of coffee makers that tell time and sometimes don't work when the wifi goes down. Why get complicated?
