Vornado - been using them for over 15 years. They are the best, and not very expensive at all.
This electric heater is silent, but will warm a 12 ft x 15 ft room in 20 minutes. It's easy to pick up and move out of the way when your room is nice and warm. They last for years and years, too.

Not a bad heater, but the smell of cheap plastic was awful. Had to stick it in my shed for a few days the smell was so string....and it still smells a couple weeks later.
