Works as just as well as the RUGER, Factory mags. in my 10 year old Ruger Mk. III Target model pistol....

As far as I can tell the only major difference between the Ruger factory mags. , is the button that facilitates loading is a lot lower profile than my Ruger factory mags.. Most people use a speed loader, that keeps the mag spring depressed on loading the mag, which makes it a mute issue when it comes to loading either mag., be it Ruger factory mags or Mec-Gar magazines.. Both types can be a issue for someone having weakened hand strength, and maybe the Mec-Gar magazines cud be harder for them to load, then again maybe not.. I am really happy with the Mec-Gar magazines which feed and function flawlessly in my pistol, thus far.. I may be mistaken, but I am pretty sure that Mec-Gar makes the factory Ruger mags anyways, for what it's worth, as well as the majority of OEM mags , for many other firearms manufacturer's.. Highly recommend this product....

Not Ruger Quality ! Didn't last a single day at the range I Cheap Imitation Import NOT WORTH THE TIN (& I MEAN TIN) Spend the extra money & BUY RUGER

Cheap Import ! ! Didn't last a day at the range! If YOU want Ruger Quality, Then spend the Extra Money & buy Ruger parts ! This was a cheap Italian copy probably made from TIN!!! Wouldn't load kept on (Stove Pipe)Malfunction, Failure to Feed,or Chamber around, Smashed them with a Hammer before throwing them in the trash (So some unsuspecting gun owner doesn't make the same mistake I did) Save your money & MAYBE YOUR LIFE & BUY RUGER ONLY FOR YOUR RUGER PERIOD

  • Brand new

These were a bit stiff to initially use, but after a few mag changes, they loosened up and they work really well. No issues at this point.

  • Great Buy

I bought these Magazines to fit my new Ruger Mark IV Hunter. They fit just like the magazines that came with the gun. Great Supplier, very reliable products, would purchase from them again. Excellent ... A 5 STAR recommended Supplier!

  • Many Failures to Load

Had this a couple weeks and have had failure to load with it. I have 4 factory magazines and all work great. This one has issues. I thought it was ammunition brand at first but have tried a couple brands now and all fail I'm buying factory version from now on

  • after market magazine

I purchased two of these after market magazines, trying to save money. These magazines are made different, on the back side they are square on the corners causing them to bind in the gun, you have to push them in and pull them out. Were as the factory ones are rounded on the back side and have clearance so when you push the eject button they fly out. If it wasn't such a bother and expense I would return them.

  • Equal to the Ruger magqzines

I have purchased third party magazines before, and have been disappointed. I took a chance on these, and have been very pleased. I have had no feeding issues. The only way you can see the difference between the original and the mec-gear is the follower button. The mec-gear follower button is smaller, and not as easy to keep the spring compressor. I use a loader, so the size of the button has not been an issue for me. Overall, I would recommend these magazines.

  • Mecbar Ruger M 3 magazine

It arrived in good time, loads and fits the pistol. As I have used the pistol yet with this mag, I can not recommend fully the purchase....but, I see no reason that it would function as designed.

  • Mecgar Ruger MarkIII 10 round magazine

Can't beat the price! Strong spring, works with my speed loader, works with my gun, built for life time of use. I will be polishing ( not grinding or filing) the bullet feed edges and the inside left sliding edge for competitive shooting. Word to the average to advance shooter, buy them quickly before they become to popular and the price goes up. I bought several. Spring was stronger than the factory issue magazine.

  • Essentially the same mag as the OEM Ruger mag

I took this mag to the range along with two Ruger mags. The only differences I see are that the mag has a different and slightly smaller pull down tab and it has no Ruger logo on the bottom. It fits perfectly in to the mag well and locks in identically to the OEM Ruger mags. I had no failure whatsoever running this mag in a rotation that consumed 500 rounds out of my Ruger Mark IV. I immediately bought another one after this test and will purchase more in the future. Mecgar is a quality company. I own many of their mags for other handguns and they have always functioned on par with the factory magazines. For the most part the mecgar equivalent mags can be had for a good deal cheaper than the OEM equivalents.
