Printing is now inexpensive. No more cartridges!
The Bad: This printer appears to be one that was destine for export to countries other than the US and cannot be registered on the Epson website using the printer's serial number. Several countries are available from the drop-down menu, but not the US is not among them.
The Good: The print quality is good, typical of Epson printers using their patented print technology, and the amount of ink provided for the refillable tanks is plenty for a couple of years of printing in my household. The price is higher than that for cartridge-based printers, but you won't be purchasing expensive cartridges. The ink can be purchased for about $9 for each 70ml of Epson ink, but compatible inks can be had for much less. I have not tried compatible inks with the L355 and don't recommend it.
My old Epson Workforce 600 did fine with the compatible color inks for several years, but is now hopelessly clogged. Compatible black ink never worked.
Epson has some newer tank printers that are for the US and I would recommend those printers over this one since you cannot register it for the warrantee.
