    Awesome Lite Slow Pitch Reel

    Great purpose-designed slow pitch jigging reel. This reel is MUCH smaller than the Ocea Jigger 2000. This 1500 size is equivalent to an Accurate Valiant BV-300...the 2000 size is more like the Accurate BV-500N. Very smooth, very powerful reel that doesn't weigh a ton. Lots of thoughtful, subtle features to this reel. The spool lock is handy if you need to break off. This reel has an auto-engagement feature...just turn the handle and it goes into gear. This is really handy when fish eat the jig on the initial drop to the bottom. Just crank forward and you are hooked up! Also has a subtle but clearly audible line out click that I like. Highly recommended for lighter slow pitch jigging set ups.
