Don't even waste a thought on off brand.. go Whirlpool! Ps.. I do this stuff myself now as thses appliance people do nothing but shortcut.. "Hey appliance guy.. where is the vent cover for that rear opening ? What did you do with it when you did a job ?" Thanks for the hole ! later I found the missing part stowed in my over fridge closet ( no, not me!) & installed it back properly

Not exactly the same but it works after parts transferred.
There are several discrepancies between the one I received and the original icemaker on my Maytag refrigerator: 1. Though the connector housing is the same, the contacts inside the housing is different (tube vs. post), 2. One of the two stainless steel cable brackets is missing, 3. The bottom mounting bracket is different and short. It took me a while to figure out why the new connector couldn't be plugged into the receptacle on the back wall, along with the other two discrepancies. However, I was able to switch the above parts to make this icemaker work on my unit. Once it is installed, it works as it should.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
