Solid and low profile
Robustly made with a solid mounting flange that can be cut down to be flush with the head. Overall height is then only 8 1/2". I had read comments about the filter not screwing on to the centre spigot straight. These are perfect and the filter seals squarely. NAPA 4770 (Spin-On) Filter Mount.
It's casted and milled well. I used 1/2" Blue Monster Teflon Tape on the plugs and brass fittings. For the application this is used for, it requires a 2 micron filter so here is what I found fits the 1-14 thread this for two micron filtration: WIX 33528, NAPA 3528, CAT 1R0750 and a BALDWIN BF7633. I strongly reccomend stainless bolts, flat washers and lock nuts on (any) filter mounts or manifolds to avoid frame vibration loosening and hardware rust.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I purchased this filter mount and filter to do what is known as the Hutch mod to my 7.3 Power stoke fuel tank. It seems to be working great and looks good.
