Great item. Could use a little more instructions.
It was pretty simple to hook up and get going. However, when I plugged in the transmitter, there was a high pitched squeal inside and I thought it was defective. I ended up figuring out it was just complaining because there wasn't an HDMI signal coming in to it yet. I used the optional IR transmitter/receiver cables too. Worked like a charm. I am using the set to transmit the HDMI and IR for our security DVR to a TV mounted on the wall in our lobby. The DVR side had double sticky tape to mount it on the back of our equipment rack, and that worked perfectly. The TV side didn't have similar tape attached, but I used a 3M removable tape spot to make it work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worked perfectly for one week.
This product worked great for a week until one of the power supplies failed. I tested it with a fluke meter. It was dead. I didn't want to go through the hassle of taking the whole thing out of the system,box it up & send it back & wait on shipping both ways. I asked if I could just buy another power supply.
