oil slick
When you think typical transformer, Oil Slick is as far from your thought process as Donald Trump is from being attractive. The vehicle mode is an awesome mix of manliness and scariness what with the goat head being on a low rider. The color scheme, while having little other colors but green, works so well for someone of Oil Slick's character what with the green, and the other green, and even more green. The transformation is simple enough so that you get from one mode to another quickly, while still throwing something new at you. I'm guessing that you've seen the robot mode already so I'll just say it. THE DOME WORKS. It is such a unique trait that i've seen only once before on another transformer. Everything about this transformer is unique from it's head dome, to the sleekness, even to the weapons, being 2 barrels that transform into a flail and the other simply opening to spew whatever toxic concoction your imagination can think up. Articulation wise the head rotates a full 360 degrees while still inside the dome. Shoulders are on a ball joint, while being slightly hindered by the head of the goat head, it not only moves out of the way on a double hinge, plus even without the hinge it doesn't hinder it that much. He also has a 90 degree elbow hinge, while not having an elbow swivel, he does have a strange inward bend in his elbow, I don't know if this throws you off the figure entirely, but it shouldn't, he's still good. Nothing at the waist, but the hips have a ball joint swivel combo with nothing hindering them in any direction. Due to the transformation, the knees have full range of motion. The feet can also work on the transformation joint and have a decent range of motion. All in all Oil Slick is an excellent figure, one of the best and most interesting out of the animated line. I highly recommend it, whether to expand your collection, or to just have an interesting toy.

This figure was so close to being perfect, the only probables I fade is that the right arm wheel has weird paint chip that makes it troublesome to move it while I’m figure mode but over all it’s a good buy.
