Great with a single exception
Works great for Ford Explorer 2011 Platinum, with a single exception. The later year models have predictive lines, this camera prints a line on the video feed, but the car doesn't support it. This camera works perfectly. Has very good clarity and picture quality. Installing it was pretty easy. The only thing that I didn't understand is why is always shows a curve on the screen as a guide for backing up but it never changes, so the guide always shows for right turns. Works fine
Works fine in my 2013 Ford Explorer. The only issue I have is the white "turn" lines embedded in the image. This feature is not supported by my vehicle but apparently is on later models. It would be helpful if this was specified in the produce description.

Perfect replacement for my 2014 Explorer
This camera is the exact replacement for this generation of Explorer. The original camera part number is EB5T-19G490-AA. This part I am writing the review on (EB5Z-19G490-A) is the new replacement for the original. It worked right away but I still used Forscan to configure the LIN connection, and it works like perfection! Direct Fit Replacement
This camera is a direct fit replacement for my 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. Took less than 30 minutes for the uninstall and reinstall. You must recalibrate the camera after installing if you need the backup assistance lines which is another 5 minutes with the right hardware and software. 2013 Explorer
My camera had switched to a reversed image (Right was Left), grid lines had disappeared and it became non-functioning intermittently. This new camera works perfectly. My grid lines were returned plus front wheel turning lines are shown but they are permanently on the screen and do not function on my 2013 model.
