cuts well/fast , ez assembly ,light weight. So far only drawback is that while cutting palm tree stump it swallows up the soft part of the tree & becomes tangled. If U don't stop 2 clean out chain will dislodge. U may also overheat motor. This happened 2 a polesaw I had. (different brand) Stopping 2 clean out tree fibers is annoying but it's either that or ruin the saw. I was pleasantly surprized!
I am a farmboy now living on a half acre lot. So I thought I'd get me a city boy saw to trim and claer a bit. Thought electric would be enough. Well we had a set of pine tree fall from the ice storm, at the base about 18" across. This Wen 16" electric saw easily did all the necessary work. Plenty of power. So long as I had cord enough I could just keep going. I am pleasantly surprized! For the price, this is a power house! So long as I keep the bar oil flowing and keep the chain sharp, this saw will do about everything I need. Great saw for the price.
Works well and easy to change chains without any tools. You need to have the large cover bolt turn knob a bit loose in order for you to tighten the chain screw properly. Cut down a 18" maple tree and also grinded out the stump with this little saw with no problem. Only problem is when you hit rocks in the ground your chain is toast so I went through a dozen chains but the saw worked flawlessly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
