Best strings for me.
I’ve been playing guitar 49 years! I’ve owned a music retail store for almost 18 years now. I’ve tried just about every string out there! GHS Boomers and Gibson strings are the best that I’ve ever used! By the price Gibson is really proud of their strings! GHS is very affordable! I know others like different strings, but for me, it’s GHS! 👍🏼 I use the custom lights 9-46 on my Strats and Teles. Easier bending and still low tone on the top. Only strings I play.
GHS Boomers are my favorite strings and they are pretty inexpensive. They also last quite a while and I am really hard on strings (acidic hands and pick hard). It's always better to buy them in bulk like this because you can get an even better deal which is how I have been buying them for the last half decade. I really like these GBCL .009-.046 hybrid sets because they give me just the right amount of tension on each string to not fret out when playing hard and I keep the action at sea level.
