Pretty Impressed
I was a bit skeptical as price was so low but after a few uses I find myself liking this machine better than my Snap On, so much that I think the Snap On may be getting traded in on a new tool box.
I own & operate a small tire, Detail & accessories shop. I have a nice clientele but most of my business is auto restoration & Detailing. I will tell you, do not be afraid to buy this lot, the tire machine is alot more heavy duty than I was expecting. I had a machine I bought from Greg Smith's Equipment that was a cheap machine but dependable. This machine blows that one out of the water.
As for the balancer, I had a heck of a time calibrating it, so I balanced a tire on my other balancer that I know is spot on. I put it on and it read 0.00/0.00. I took a weight of, balanced tire, read out exactly what I took off. So it either came calibrated or I'm lucky and that's not usually the case. I'm going to keep balancing on other machine and balance with this one. So far I've done 8 tires and only difference I had was a ,25 and that's barely anything. The directions are terrible and I'd feel alot Better knowing for sure it's calibrated. I heard there is a YouTube out there that shows you how to set up this machine. So far no luck finding it but it's a nice enough balancer. It's compact which I really like.
In closing, I went back & forth for two weeks before I pulled trigger. I was not expecting this quality so if you need a nice, reliable and better than anything; a low priced combo, you for it. You will be glad u did.
