A Professional level tambourine, to last a lifetime. One of the very best available.
This tambourine is a professional model, so it is priced accordingly, almost $200 which for a tambourine is pretty expensive. It is definitely "professional" quality in every way, with superior construction, head and a wide variety of jingle choices. Their website allows you to hear each top model level tambourine so you can decide which jingles to get on the model you choose. This is a must as the large array of choices EACH has a distinctly different sound and therefore one should carefully listen and pick the suitable jingle type for the intended usage. I got the most popular model (according to Black Swamp) the phosphorous brass/ silver combination which has a wonderful deep dry sound with awesome cutting power and the ability to handle a wide variety of musical applications. Only orchestra or studio percussionists might need (and be able to afford!) more than one jingle type o fit ALL situations perfectly. For me this model will be my go-to tambourine for most of the time. Comes with heavy nylon case and beeswax to facilitate thumb rolls. Definitely worth the money!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
