Limbsaver recoil pad. Does it work?
Yes,it does work, and the reason is it is very compliant. That is, it has a squishy quality about it, but it isn't weak or fragile. Also, it fit the Remington synthetic stocked rifle perfectly right out of the package. Installation time less than one minute, and more than half of that is getting it out of the plastic bubble. You must save your screws from the old pad and use them to install the new one. I put this on my 30-06 because the one on my 300 mag was so effective.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The LimbSaver is an awesome product when using heavy loads in a pump gun 12 ga. I always get bursed with this limb saver it does not burse my shoulder it does not take away the recoil but it does save the hurt. Would not recommend this product.
Pro: The fit was very good for a Remington Model 700 rifle. Con: the rubber recoil pad itself was sticky to the touch. This was not what was wanted and the reason I was replacing the old one.
