Didn't help me, but likely not the kit's fault
It didn't fix my monitor, but I'm a soldering newbie and surely did a bad job with it. And maybe my monitor has a problem other than the one this kit is meant to fix. I really don't know. The parts all looked fine and the instructions were good, although I really would've appreciated a higher-resolution picture or two, like provide a url so I can look at the original image instead of the included black and white printout. I wasn't sure how the resoldered contacts (the ones where you aren't replacing any parts) should look.

Sorry late review. Showed up on time, put it in, works great. Interesting that it was manufactured on the *same day* as the one I had. Hopefully will get me another year or two out of my 12 year-old monitor.

Works great.
Got my old monitor up and running again. It was much cheaper than buying a new monitor. I kind of wish I knew what was wrong with it though so that I could fix it myself in the future.
