Much better than cutting factory harness.
Used this harness in a 2017 F150. I modified it by cutting off the loc. I then soldered rca cables to front & rear speaker wires coming out of the acm. Using forscan I coverted the high level speaker outputs to low level outputs making the factory radio act like an aftermarket. Hooked up my 4 channel amp,subs, and componets. Sounds excellent. Makes it easy
This adapter made hiking the sun in my 2013 escape a breeze. Instructions as to what the extra wire adapter and fuse are for would benefit someone who hasn't figured it out.
