Wish thet still made these in the USA
For some unknown reason Uniden stopped making this affordable version of their water resistant cordless telephone. In 2011 you could buy an answering machine/base station, 2 regular and 1 water resistant phone for about $99.00. Now just the water resistant phone is $600.00 - 800.00 but they are still cheap in other countries. TOUGH phone, really well built. Works well. Battery commonly found and cheap to replace.
Really tough. Seems very waterproof/resistant, I 've never tested it but it's very well built and has all kinds of seals and rubber. Works great.
