High quality chorus
The JHS Emperor is by all means a fine chorus/vibrato pedal that should satisfy most players. That being said, I personally found it to be a tad timid in the depth department and a little bit too much on the "dry" side. It is said to have been designed after the Arion SCH-1, revered in some corners as a studio secret weapon, one supposedly inspired by the Boss CE-2. Somehow, I fail at distinguishing the resemblance between the two, but that isn't necessarily an issue. Overall, the Emperor is a beautifully made pedal that is guaranteed to deliver. Worth noting is the stereo out (TRS) and the expression pedal input.

Very cool chorus pedal!
JHS makes good pedals! The owner, Josh, is a pedal guy. It's what he loves to do. He has a VERY large pedal collection! I took two Emperor chorus pedals, and ran them both together. And it works! What a sound! You can listen to YouTube. Do it. I did. Just buy it and try it! I have other chorus pedals too. I'm keeping the JHS Emperor pedals!
