Bad Smell
The one, and only thing that I do not like about this solar shower bag is, It has a real bad smell that comes from the plastic it's made of. Be sure to wash the bag with warm soapy water first, then as the makers say... "Use Baking Soda, rinse it with baking soda and warm water. If you do not do this, The water will make your hands and or body stink like the plastic. Hard to handle, leaks
It didn't work for me. It's very flexible and hard to handle, making it very difficult to fill. The valve slides up and down and when I tried to stand the bag up, the valve slip up so far that it leaked. I had to keep the bag laying on its side to prevent leaking from the valve. Also, the fill cap just slides in and depending the how much pressure is on it, it can leak, too. Nothing like a good shower when you're camping!
I've used this shower bag several times and it works very well. Showering outdoors, even in a shower tent, is a little weird to get used to but it would be impossible without this bag. It's the best deal out there right now. Even half of the bag is usually enough for a quick shower and isn't too heavy. filling this all the way up would be too much weight on a shower tent so that works out anyways. I have a laser thermo that has read the temp on this bag in the direct sun in excess of 110, which is too hot but certainly awesome. I cut the tube down to about 2 inches because it's ridiculously long and the string could be shorter, too. Finding privacy where you can hang it high is difficult but you can either shower in a bathing suit or duck down in a tent.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

After 4 or 5 hours in the sun, you have 5 gallons of HOT water! The on / off valve could be better designed, it tends to leak if you are not careful. gets the job done
i live in the mountains for a good part of the year and this is a great way to keep myself from being a dirty bum. the shower tends to last around 5 min and it gets warm enough to be pleasant on a 70 degree day. i had to cut the shower hose shorter but it was an extremely easy fix.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

However easy solution was to buy clear tubing from Lowe's plumbing department-I took the shower head and found the right size problem solved. Don't buy it...
First time it got warm enough, i cleaned it, filled it with water, & hung it up so i could take a shower. It started leaking... the valve didn't work... & when i tried to tighten the nut that holds the valve to the bag, it came off & emptied the bag.
