The kinks are to London what the Beatles are to Liverpool
The links are the best group. I don't know why they are the 'Beatles' of London. Whilst I love the Beatles, and love the songs, they are mostly ideals. The Kinks are everyday life. My life. My family's life. It's a shame the brothers have such a love hate relationship. But listen to the music, it's London life.
