Reviews"She dominates The Pretenders’ 'Private Life' and Roxy Music’s 'Love Is The Drug', extending and dubbing-out Chrissie Hynde’s song to make it her own...", 5 Stars Out of 5-"A Game-Changing 1980 Sci-Fi New Wave Funk Landmark...", "WARM LEATHERETTE showcases what a compelling vocalist Grace Jones is. While the music settles into a steady grove, Jones takes centre stage and demands your attention."
Additional InformationThe first of three albums rooted in a sleek post-disco fusion of rock and reggae, recorded with Sly & Robbie at Compass Point.
Miss Grace Jones. Probably everything has been said except Thank You
Wonderful. Most repackages 12 inches remixes etc are disappointing. This is an exception. Just press play sit back and enjoy. Fantastic musicians. Grace became a fantastic artist but if she only did this cd it would have been enough to inspire those artists who followed. A great and often underated artist. Sometimes image detracts from the depth of the music and the commitment. Her performances are a celebration but the music is crafted beautifully
