Deere G100 - Time Will Tell
This bracket is well made, and no heavier than it has to be. Why want a light bracket when you are ADDING weight? So you don't have un-needed weight when you take the weights off. The design is just right for quite a number of John Deere lawn and garden tractors, but not the G100. To get it to fit the G100 I mounted the upper part to the part of the steel fender deck just over the gas tank. That meant a lot of pulling the deck and gas tank to make holes and cut notches (so the sparks didn't reach the gas tank) then putting it all back, remarking, taking it off, etc. But it DID go on, and seems reasonably secure. I'll likely add some fender washers to distribute the upper bolt stresses a bit more. And I'll have to keep an eye for signs that the bouncing of the weights against the thinner deck steel is causing any metal fatique. So, it CAN be MADE to work with a G100, but as to how long it will be OK... tim will tell. It sure beat other alternatives cost-wise!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
