Great for any golfer!
I'm a new golfer but have gotten addicted to the game and needed something easier to use to give me accurate distances to the hole other than the downloaded app for my smart phone. A friend of mine recommended the S2 Garmin and since I've purchased it, I have not been disappointed with its performance. It's easy to read, easy to activate prior to starting a match and so convenient on the wrist. I only wish it would connect with an app for the smart phone so the score can easily be uploaded for your handicap. The device seems tto have problems locating the necessary satellites initially. Then, if one isj fortunate enough to find the correct course, it operates well for a few holes and then freezes up.. I bought this to replace a rangefinder. It is also a watch, but I never wear a watch. Just wanted something simple and easy to use for golf. This was a good choice. Aside from easy to use, it is also comfortable. After a few minutes, I wasn't even aware of it when swinging a club. Pretty easy to use - I had the S1 and wanted to upgrade in order to get yardage to the nearest hazard or water. Have only used this once since receiving it; attaching the charger is easier with the S2.
