Finally I can control the humidity
I had left my humidor unattended for way too long, all of the cigars were dried out. The only way to revive them is to slowly increase the humidity over a long period of time. Too fast and the cigars will burst. This device allows me to slowly increase the humidity. I have a digital hydrometer, this Oasis keeps the humidity within 1%+ of the settings. I thought about getting the smaller one that would attach to the lid, but the reviews said that it needs monthly maintenance. This Excel version is suppose to last unto 6 months, depending on a variety of factors.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A definite improvement.
I had a much earlier iteration of this device and it finally died. It was never properly calibrated to humidity, but I figured it out and it kept my cigars in good shape. I have a Daniel Marshall humidor and it allows the Excel to work it's magic beautifully. I purchased the new version of this, tho I have no intention of hooking it to wifi. Had it for about two weeks. It allows calibration to humidity, though not temperature. And it was off by about 2%, which isn't bad. It maintains humidity in the humidor beautifully and is very quiet vs. the old version. A definite improvement. The controls are easy to use. Note that there are not detailed instructions in the box. Need to go on line to access those. Just enough to get started. Not a problem for me. Less paper. I would definitely recommend this with the caveat that I didn't use the wifi set up. So Far So Good!
Received the item within 3 days. Set it up, connected to wifi, and it working just fine. This Cigar Oasis Excel humidification system is the answer to my prayers for no longer worrying about keeping my expensive cigars smoking fresh. Holding the humidity perfectly
So far the humidification aspect is fantastic. I said it for 69 % and so far it’s been perfect. The only problem is I cannot figure out how to link it to my smart phone. I think I’ll have to have my daughter come over and help me figure it out.
