It works great on dark leather. It only wipes off easy if you stop every few seconds to wipe while wet. Once dry it needs to be dampened to wipe clean. Still a value.

Doesn't wipe off!
This marker may work on chrome finished leather (I don't know, I've not tried it), but beware veg tan users! The marker does write on the leather, but it does not wipe off well. Even only seconds after application, the marks leave a faint stain (ESPECIALLY on White leather!). I work exclusively with veg tan hides, so this marker is a 'no-go' for me. Back to using my pencil.

Great for marking leather
Best that I have found for marking patterns on leather for cut out. I have used this product for years. Can be somewhat removed by wiping off or with eraser.
