POR-15® is an effective anti-corrosive and rust preventive coating that offers superior chemical resistance due to its dense, cross-linked molecular composition and non-porous attributes. The secret lies in POR-15®'s curing process. Most paints dry through evaporation, but POR-15® dries faster when moisture is present. It has the opposite chemistry of ordinary paints. Now add to that POR-15®'s incredible hardness, toughness, and flexibility and you have a coating that is practically indestructible.

Not the same as their black.
From my experience with one can only, doesn't work as well as their black. Even after vigorous mixing, the coverage is not uniform in color. It also doesn't flow out as well. That said, irregularities are easily sanded out, then a coat of aluminum tinted spray paint over the POR will yield a tough, good looking finish.

This is some good stuff. Seals very well. Make sure to top coat it if it gets any sun exposure otherwise it turns kind of a yellowy silver. Read and follow the label instructions and you won't have any issues.
