  • Excellent upgrade

Only offered on the R/T model, this cluster allows you to change vehicle settings, see vehicle data and have detailed fuel economy in real time and a large display for vehicle speed as well as a trip computer. A very nice upgrade, that is 'plug 'n play', however the installation is rather difficult as the dashboard and steering column must be removed, as well as 3 of the forward airbags in order to remove and replace the cluster. Another downside to this unit is that it has no TPMS interface, only the fault indicator lamp as it is on the base model cluster. In order to make the upgrade properly, the original cluster and the new cluster have to go to the dealer to be programmed, or your new cluster odometer will not have your actual mileage. The dealer has to send out the gauge clusters to a third party company that is licensed to modify odometers. This process may take as long as a week, or more. The swap took me about 3 hours to do, without any rush. If you're mechanically inclined, it's not too bad, basically the same process as replacing a heater core in some cars. For me, it was a worthwhile upgrade.
