Great concept, not sure if I got a lemon
Install was a breeze but there is quite a bit of slop and rattles around compared to the stock release. The surface finish on mine was also “ok”, machine marks were pretty apparent and on the one side there were multiple nicks like a dull blade was used when cutting the stock. Works great and makes mag changes a breeze but just be aware if you are OCD about things on your gun.

Extended Magazine Release well over due!
Bought this item to replace one I had been using when I bought the rifle in 1979. What a difference. It was easy to install and it makes it so easy to change magazines now. I will definitely buy this product again to the replace the magazine release on my other 10-22 rifle, I got as a gift in 1969. Best addition to my 10/22
It was a super easy install, just used a paperclip to push out the old pin while depressing the mag release and then replace and put the new pin in while depressing the mag release.
