Surprisingly high quality at a very good price.
Purchased for the rails and was a bit skeptical but figured the price was low enough to make the risk affordable. When it arrived I was happily surprised. It is well made, fits securely, holds light and laser securely and merely because it was available, I attached my M7 bayonet to it and it fit great as well (don't expect I will ever have a need for the bayonet attachment, but one never knows I suppose, and it completes the package). As an added surprise, the sling mount simply screws in, thus, can be removed if not needed, which was my case (I have a separate side sling mount that I use, so did not need it) but it is there if needed. Outstanding
I grind the bayonet lug off the bottom of these and use them for mounting lights to my shotguns. Once the bottom is rounded, give it a spray of rustoleum matte black and it's good as new. I appreciate that it has the groove for the barrel to rest in and keep it from rotating. I put a piece of scotch tape around the magazine tube where I'm mounting this, tighten it down and forget about them. I've had one on my Mossberg 500 for over a year now and it never comes loose. TOTALLY A TOY, BUT...
Let's be real, when is the last time you needed bayonet on your shotgun? Odds are, never! That's okay though. We live in America where we don't have to explain our wants or our needs. Sling mount
