Good Unit For The Price
Overall the phone works fine and the batteries stay charged for several days. It seems to be made cheaper than my original VETCH set. The dial buttons seem a little spongy - and the handset back light -seems not as bright as my old ones. The speaker volume is loud and the calls come in clear. My favorite feature is the intercom system- which makes it handy - when I have to find someone or use it as a walkie -talkie outside of the house. This is a used phone set. All pieces looked brand new and clean, however there were a bunch of phone calls in the caller id log and numbers programed into phone book. I had a really hard time getting the answering system up and running, which is why this phone was no doubt returned by the previous owner . I was in the end able to get every thing working. Overall a nice and convenient phone.
We tried 3 different sets and they all had problems. This one has a good sound, easy to set up and has everything I expect from a land-line Phone. I hope this system will last as long as our first system (10 years). Good Product At A Good Price
We bought the vetch to replace our older set of vetch phones we have. Our older set was still working fine but were not holding a charge like they did when they were new. Ringtone needs to be louder!
I took one star away because the ringtone is very low...My husband is hard of hearing and needs a LOUD ringtone and I need it louder when I take the handset outside to the pool. Not a good product
The Handset is not a comfortable size and while the sound is acceptable the screen that displays the number, time, date, etc is very hard to read. While the Picture in the ad makes it appear that the screen is back lit, it is not, thus very difficult to read.
